Jack Stilgoe conducts research on the governance of emerging technologies, including genetically modified crops, nanotechnologies, geoengineering, machine learning and self-driving cars.
Jack Stilgoe is an associate professor at UCL’s Department of Science and Technology Studies, where he researches and teaches science and technology policy, responsible research and innovation, public engagement with science and the governance of emerging technologies. He was previously at the Royal Society and the think tank Demos.
